Most tees on the market sit between 160 and 180 gsm. Ours starts at 300. The difference is not marketing. It is drape. A heavier cloth falls in a straight line from the shoulder instead of clinging, which is why a Glück tee reads closer to a shirt than to underwear.
We source combed, ring-spun cotton and pre-shrink every roll before cutting. The collar is reinforced with a second binding so it refuses to wave, even after a hundred washes.
The result costs more to make and takes longer to sew. We think the extra grams are the entire point.
